Step-by-step guide on how to enter a timecard in AiM.

1.To enter a time card in AiM proper first select one of the assigned queries. 2, Select the work order phase from the list you want to add hours to. 3. Under the action menu select time card. 4. Fill in the date by selecting the calendar icon
5. To change the Time Type, click on the hour glass to select. The time types are unique to each shop. This is an example of the time types available to the mechanical shop. 6. Once you have entered the required information and appropriate time type (typically this is reg), select the add button. The add button drops the entry down below the blue line so the entry can be saved. Think of the area above the blue bar as a template. 7. Before you save the entry the user can enter a timecard note for the supervisor and/or a phase note for information to be captured at the phase level. 8. Once everything looks correct select save. Once saved the time card will generate a transaction number. Repeat this process to account for an eight hour day. |
