  1. If this is an upgrade and not a brand new install, skip to step 4.
  2. Install .net Framework 3.5 (if not installed) and verify your client is running Windows 10 or later.

  3. .Find your client serial number from \\files\uodps\Temp\AMAG\Licenses\AMAG9 License Keys - Assigned.xlsx (password is 'amag')

    1. If your computer name has changed please notify FASS IT so we can update the spreadsheet.

  4. Copy \\files\uodps\Temp\AMAG\9.3.65\ to your local computer (do no use any other versions that may be available).

  5. Run Setup.exe as Administrator with admin credentials. If you do not have admin credentials on your workstation contact your IT support.


  6. Click Next.


  7. Check Symmetry and click Next.


  8. Click Install and wait for the installer to complete it's steps.  If If you are prompted for database administrator credentials during the install please contact FASS IT so we can temporarily add your account to the database permissions during install.

  9. Click Next. If this is an upgrade skip to step 15.


  10. Check the box to accept the terms and click Next.


  11. Copy and paste your serial number into the boxes and click Next.


  12. Verify the server name is "uopd-amagserv2" and click Next.
    Note: If you get a message that you can't reach the database server you may need to add an entry to your hosts file (c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts) like this "172.18.1.131 uopd-amagserv2".


  13. Select Typical and click Next.


  14. Click Next (If this fails or you get an error message you can ignore it).


  15. Select the radio button for Use Named Account, fill in the fields, and click Next (password is on Pass tab "\\files\uodps\Temp\AMAG\Licenses\AMAG9 License Keys - Assigned.xlsx", password is 'amag').


  16. Click Install and wait for it to finish.



  17. Click Finish.


  18. Additional components will install (if needed) and the dialog screen will disappear when finished.


  19. Reboot the client workstation.

  20. Launch the client by clicking the icon on your desktop (or Start Menu).


  21. If this is an upgrade skip to step 22.
    The License Activation screen will appear, select Activate your license over the Internet and click OK (the server does the activation on behalf of the client).


  22. If your account is set up for SSO (Single Sign-On) you should be presented with the default client screen.


  23. Click on the circle in the upper left and select About. Your program and database versions should match and read "9.3.65".
  24. Click on the Maintenance tab → Client Preferences and change Selection List Rows Limit to 9999 if it's not already set to that.
