- As of October 2018, Banner 9 is in test, not production. It will be HTML5 based and use Shibboleth to login. No news as of now.
Banner 8
- Banner 8 requires Java and a Java compatible browser. As of October 2018, only Internet Explorer 11 is a Java capable browser. There are no Java capable browsers for MacOS.
Banner 8 Database Password Reset
To set or reset your Banner 8 database password, do the following:
- Visit the appropriate SSO Manager Credential Management Utility
- Link for Banner Production: ssoman.uoregon.edu/ssomanagerutil
- Link for Banner Test: ssoman-test.uoregon.edu/ssomanagerutil
- Log in to the Utility with your DuckID and associated password
- Enter your desired Banner database password into the Password box
- Click Save
- Close the SSO Manager Credential Management Utility page
