Clean off your desk!In order to facilitate the removal of your old hardware and install your new device, please ensure that your workstation is organized so that the IT technician will have easy access to the device. This means also ensuring that the space under your desk is accessible, as the installation may require the IT technician to switch out cabling. Please be advised that you will need to be present during the installation process as the IT technician will require you to test your new device to ensure that everything is working properly and you have access to your files and applications.

Step by Step Instructions for Saving your Chrome Bookmarks

1. Open Chrome and click the icon on the far right with the 3 vertical dots.

2. Select Bookmarks and Bookmark Manager from the menu. This will open up the Bookmarks screen.

3. Click the 3 vertical dots on the far right and select Export Bookmarks from the menu.

4. A dialogue box will appear asking you to save your bookmarks .html file. Select a location in your O: drive to save this file and click Save.

5. Now you will install your bookmarks on your new computer. Follow steps 1 and 2 above to open the Bookmarks screen.
6. Click the 3 vertical dots on the far right and select Import Bookmarks from the menu.

7. Select the bookmark .html file from your O: drive and click Open. If your bookmarks do not show up in your bookmark bar right away, try closing and restarting Chrome.
