AMAG - Reporting

  1. In AMAG, go to the Reports tab.  



  2. On the toolbar, select the corresponding icon for the type of report you'd like to generate.  In most cases, one of the existing options under the History or Identity Reports categories will give the desired information.
    However, Symmetry also allows the creation of custom reports that can be saved as a "Predefined Report".



  3. To create a custom report, select the Predefined Reports drop-down under the Configuration category.



  4. From the drop-down list, select the appropriate report type, such as Activity, then click New.



  5. Give your report a unique identifier.  We recommend using a department code followed by description of the report (e.g., "FASS - Example Activity Report")



  6. From here, you can define the criteria that you want saved in your canned report.  For example, you can select either a specific Reader to target, or a Reader Group.
    **Note: It's recommended to set other categories to None in order to avoid unwanted results in your report.



  7. Finally, check boxes next to the type of activity you want to track in the right-pane.  Be sure to uncheck any unwanted activity. 



  8. Click Ok to save the report.  It will now be available from the Reports toolbar under History → Predefined Reports.
