Disabling MS Teams auto-start

Log into Teams and open your Manage Profile Settings by clicking on the profile icon. You can find this icon on the upper right corner. 

Click on the Settings link in the resulting menu.

In the Settings section. Find the Application section under the General tab and unchecked the Auto-start application option.

You can close Teams.
