Add a shared mailbox to your cell phone

Many people have access to shared mailboxes that they access.  You can now set the shared mailboxes up on your cell phone!

Step-by-step guide

  1. Install Outlook on your phone through the Android Play Store or iPhone App Store.


  2. Open Outlook.  Add your primary email account and password when prompted.
  3. Click the 3 white lines in the top left-hand corner of the window.


  4. Click the Gear in the lower right-hand corner of the window.


  5. Click ADD ACCOUNT.  


  6. Click Add a shared mailbox.  


  7. Enter the shared mailbox email address and click Continue.  That's it!


  8. You can toggle between your personal inbox and the shared inbox by clicking the 3 white lines in the top left-hand corner of the window.  Your inbox will be listed first.  The shared inbox will be listed second.  Click on the mailbox you want to see.


You need to use Outlook on your cell phone to do this.Â
