AiM Workorder/Phase Cost Analysis Reports
OVERVIEW
Purpose: To replace the built-in Cost Analysis tool with one that accurately reflects billed transaction information from a customer perspective. The built-in Cost Analysis tool sums up all transactions in the billed transactions table, which includes some transactions we have duplicated for the purpose of supporting cost of goods sold for PO's and inventory releases. In effect, the billed transactions can show up to double what the customer was actually charged for a particular job. The built-in Cost Analysis tool also does not properly reflect transactions that are not sent to banner. For example, labor costs from facilities workers billed to the service center generate transactions that are marked NO EXTRACT and are not sent to Banner since the payroll expense already resides in the service center.
