WHO IS AFFECTED: YOU, iPad and iPhone users
WHEN IS THIS HAPPENING: Starting Monday, 8/22/2022
WHAT IS HAPPENING:
We will be pushing a critical security update to your UO-owned iPads and iPhones starting Monday, 8/22/2022. Your device may prompt you to install the update or restart. When you restart your iPad or iPhone, it may take 5-10 minutes to apply the update.

WHO IS AFFECTED: This notice was sent to all FASS IT supported units
WHEN IS THIS HAPPENING: Friday, 8/19/2022
WHAT IS HAPPENING:
Windows Updates will be approved on Thursday evening 8/18/2022 for all supported computers and will begin installing in the background on your workstations on Friday, 8/19/2022. If you are working from home, the updates will begin installing once you connect to the VPN.
YOUR NEXT STEPS:
Your computer will prompt you to restart after the updates are installed. The updates are not large and have taken less than 30 minutes to complete in testing. However, due to the varying hardware of workstations, it could take longer so please allow up to 2 hours for updates to complete.
