Quick-start instructions to get to your files via the VPN. Note that you need to be connected to the internet (either wired or wirelessly) before you connect using the VPN:
UO Machines:
MacOS - mappings to shared drives should be retained and the drives accessible once you connect to the VPN.
Windows – After connecting to the VPN, you may see a red "X" to the left of the drive letter. You should just be able to click the drive letter and it'll connect and you'll be able to access files.
Non-UO Machine
Mappings:
O: drive - \\files.uoregon.edu\fs-files\Home\<your duck id>
H: drive - \\files.uoregon.edu\fs-files\
MacOS – Connect drives just as you do on campus.
Windows – Right-click the Start menu, select Run and then enter one of the mapping above into the “Open” box. Click “OK” and you’ll be connected. As an example, if I wanted to map my Home drive, I would enter \\files.uoregon.edu\fs-files\home\kmcglinc.
