    Phase Views & Favorites

    ⬜ Intro

There are 4 main views within the Work List module in Anvil, which we will cover in this tutorial. These views can be seen as separate buckets used for sorting phases in different ways for your convenience.

The Work List module is accessed from the AiM Mobile section of the left menu of your home screen in Anvil. Click on the Work List icon to follow along with this tutorial.

    🟩 All Phases View

When you first open the Work List from your home screen, you will see a screen called All Phases. This is a list of all the phases you are assigned to. In the screenshot below, notice the All Phases icon is highlighted at the top-left.

At the top-center, next to All Phases, is a number in parentheses, telling how many phases there are in the list.

🔵 Work Order & Phase Numbers

All tasks are tracked and referenced using a number that is a combination of the Work Order number and Phase number, formatted like in the screenshot, below. All phases are linked to a work order, and most work orders have more than one phase.

    🔵 Creation & Assign Dates

The Creation and Assign Dates are listed on the left of each Phase listing, documenting when this phase/task was created, and when it is due to be completed.

    🔵 Phase Contact

The Phase Contact is someone who would be able to answer questions about this task.

    🔵 Priority Level

At the left edge of each phase listing is a colored vertical bar. These are priority indicators that tell how urgent a phase is. You don’t need to remember the colors, as the Priority level is also written out on the right edge of each listed phase.

    🔵 Location & Phase Description

The location is usually entered under Location, at the bottom-left (or in this example, included in the description instead). The Phase Description is found in the middle of the Phase listing.

🔵 Phase Status & Asset Number

The Status describes what step the project is at. E.g., Assigned, Work in Progress, etc.

If there’s an Asset associated with the task/phase, the assigned asset number would also be listed.

    🟩 Scheduled Phases View

The Scheduled Phases View is accessed by clicking on the small clock icon at the top-left of your screen. It will list your top priority phases/tasks and to-do's for the day. The Assign Date is the date you are expected to complete the task.

Scheduled phases/tasks are typically urgent or project work
Scheduled phases are tasks your supervisor has assigned for a specific day. Always check the Scheduled Phases view at the start of your shift each day, before working your regular work list.
