Important note: Do not generate without entering some specific parameters or filters. Otherwise, if no parameters or filters are selected, dates will be generated for all PM templates in Aim. This can or will cause the load time to vary and be lengthy if specific parameters are not entered.

For specific generation needs, enter data in select fields as outlined below.

The asset block is used to filter the PM template assets, and projected dates will be generated based on the selected asset(s).

The shop block is used to filter by a specific shop on a template phase.

The location block is used to filter the assets installed in properties, which will have projected dates based on the region, facility, property, or location.

Select the calendar icon. The generation end date identifies how far into the future PM scheduled or projected dates are generated.

Note: even though the system generously allows future dates, the future date is typically chosen five years from the present or today’s date to the end of the selected month.

Select five years out from the present date.

Select the magnifying icon on the “Template field”

Click on search and enter the PM template name. In this example, AHU is chosen.

Select execute.

Click on AHU link.

Select Generate.

An informational box will appear to confirm the scheduled date projection generation is complete.

Select OK.

Confirm that the scheduled projected dates appear on the PM template.

Click on the horizontal three lines.

Select PM Template.

Click search.

Enter template “AHU”.

Select execute.

Click on AHU.

Click on Template Phase 001.

Select “Sequence 1” (an asset) on Template Asset.

Confirm the projected dates are visible. Note five years of projected dates.

Click back.

Then click back again to return to the PM Template screen.
