Timecard Approvals (AiM)

This article explains details on timecard approval on AiM, and instructions on where to view rejected timecards.

Page Summary

The Page Summary section serves as a quick reference point of the steps, after going through the detailed Step-by-Step Tutorial with screenshots.

  • From the Supervisor WorkDesk, select Timecards under the Approvals menu.

  • In the Timecard Approval screen, you have the ability to view More Detail or Less Detail by clicking the button.

  • Check the box next to each entry you would like to Approve or Reject.

  • Once the employee resubmits their rejected timecard, it will appear in the Approval query again.

  • If you have failed time cards, you can view the Error Log under the Action menu.

  • Reasons you may see a failed timecard include; Internal Work Agreement (IWA) funding shortage, account set up issue, subledger issue, closed work order.

  1. From the Supervisor WorkDesk, select Timecards under the Approvals menu.  Depending on your WorkDesk setup, Approvals may be on the right or left.

  1. The shop supervisor selects the check box and can either Approve or Reject an employee's timecard. If the timecard is rejected, it will go back to the employee's WorkDesk in their Rejected Timecards query

  1. Once the employee resubmits their rejected time card, it will appear in the Approval query again.

  1. If you have failed time cards you can view the error in the Error Log under the Action menu.
