These instructions line out how to set up and update your Facilities Services issued iPad.

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE
STEPS FOR CUSTOMER: Self-Serve
Log In and Update Passcode
Log in with the default passcode (1715 or 171515)
- Click on the Settings app
- Click Touch ID & Passcodes on the left-hand menu
- Click "Change Passcode"
- You will be prompted to enter the old passcode (the default passcode you used to log in)
- Next, enter your desired new passcode. Remember this passcode, this is how you will log onto your iPad going forward.
Set Up Outlook and Teams
- Find the Outlook and Teams apps
- Set up Outlook
- Open the Outlook app
- Enter your UO email address
- Select Add Account
- Enter your email password
- Set up Teams
- Open the Teams app
- Enter your UO email address
- Select sign in and enter your email password
Set Up ANVIL
- Find the ANVIL app
- You will be prompted with a Duo sign in, enter your DuckID login information
Updated iPad
- FASS IT will send notifications when it is time to update your iPad - updates should automatically install in the background but you may be prompted to install the update manually
- Make sure your iPad is plugged in and connected to the wifi
- Click on the Settings app
- Select General on the left-hand side menu
- Select Software Update
- Select Software Update
- You will see if an update is available to download and install on this page. Select Download and Install to begin the update process.
- Enter your passcode and allow the update to complete. Do not turn off your iPad during this process.
