These instructions line out how to set up and update your Facilities Services issued iPad.

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE


STEPS FOR CUSTOMER: Self-Serve

Log In and Update Passcode

  1. Log in with the default passcode (1715 or 171515)

  2. Click on the Settings app
  3. Click Touch ID & Passcodes on the left-hand menu
  4. Click "Change Passcode"
  5. You will be prompted to enter the old passcode (the default passcode you used to log in)
  6. Next, enter your desired new passcode. Remember this passcode, this is how you will log onto your iPad going forward.

Set Up Outlook and Teams

  1. Find the Outlook and Teams apps
  2. Set up Outlook
    1. Open the Outlook app
    2. Enter your UO email address
    3. Select Add Account
    4. Enter your email password
  3. Set up Teams
    1. Open the Teams app
    2. Enter your UO email address
    3. Select sign in and enter your email password

Set Up ANVIL

  1. Find the ANVIL app
  2. You will be prompted with a Duo sign in, enter your DuckID login information

Updated iPad

  1. FASS IT will send notifications when it is time to update your iPad - updates should automatically install in the background but you may be prompted to install the update manually
  2. Make sure your iPad is plugged in and connected to the wifi
  3. Click on the Settings app
  4. Select General on the left-hand side menu
    1. Select Software Update
  5. You will see if an update is available to download and install on this page. Select Download and Install to begin the update process.
  6. Enter your passcode and allow the update to complete. Do not turn off your iPad during this process.
