Page Summary

The Page Summary section serves as a quick reference point of the steps, after first going through the detailed Step-by-Step Tutorial with screenshots.

Non-Posted Time Adjustments

  • From your WorkDesk, click on Time and Attendance in the left Menu.

  • In the next screen, click on the spyglass icon next to Timecard in the left Menu.

  • In the next screen, you can Search by Shop, Work Date, Name or Transaction Number. Once entered, click on Execute.

  • Select the link of your search result.

  • In the Timecard screen, if it has not yet been posted/approved, you can Delete or Adjust the timecard. To Delete, hit Delete.

  • To adjust, hit Edit.

  • Once in Edit mode, you can adjust the Work Date.

  • Now you can delete or edit your Line Items (time entries) for that date. To edit your Line Items, click on the link on the correct line.

  • When you’re finished, click on Done in the screen for the line item you opened.

  • Repeat for other line items as needed. When finished, hit Save at the top-left of the Timecard screen, or your changes will not be saved.

Time on a Timecard is tracked in hours and fractions of an hour, not in minutes.  Thus a time entry of 1.5 is an hour and half (30 minutes), not an hour and 50 minutes (1.5).

Step-by-Step Tutorial

Non-Posted Time Adjustments

  1. Go to the Time and Attendance module in AiM.

  1. Search for the Timecard in the module (or access from the employee's query or supervisors approval query)

3. The employee, supervisor/manager or Work Control Center can Search by Shop, Work Date, Name or Transaction Number.  For this example the Transaction Number is being entered.  Once entered select Execute.

  1. Next, the transaction number comes up. Select the Transaction Number.

5. In this example there are three line items.  Since the timecard has Not Posted, it can either be deleted and started over, or adjusted.

  1. If the choice is to edit the timecard select Edit.

  1. Once in Edit mode, you can change the Work Date if you need to.

  1. Make your Edit(s). Delete a line item OR open up a line item and adjust hours, change work order number or phase or labor class.

  1. Once done with the open line item select Done. Back on the main timecard screen, hit Save.
