Microsoft 365 Login

How to log in to Microsoft 365 services with your UOPD login.

Step-by-step guide

Logging in to Microsoft 365 services

  1. You will be presented with a Microsoft login screen, enter your full UOPD email address.

    1. If you have already used your work email to create a Microsoft account you may see the following prompt, select Work or school account.
  2. You will be prompted to set up MFA if you haven't already done so (Android, iOS). Follow the prompts and install the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile device if it's not already installed. If you have completed the MFA setup skip to step 3.

    1. You will be prompted to scan a QR code in the Microsoft Authenticator app to add your login to your mobile device. Once it's added you can use it to generate a code or accept push authentication very similar to DualShield.

  3. The following message will pop up and a notification will be sent to your mobile device asking you to approve the login, similar to DualShield and DUO.

  4. The app on your device will show a notification similar to this. Click Approve to finish signing in.

Outlook

If your mailbox has been migrated to Exchange Online you will need to follow these steps the first time you open Outlook:

  1. Open Outlook and type your full UOPD email address (if it doesn't automatically fill in the field) and click Connect.

  2. Click on Microsoft 365.

  3. You'll see a login prompt appear, type your UOPD 365 account (full email address) and click Next.

  4. You should be automatically signed in, otherwise you will need to enter your password. Click Done when you see the following window.

  5. Optional Step: A web browser window may open with a QR code to add the Outlook App to your mobile device. This is not required and you may close the window.
