This procedure outlines a list of expendable materials to maintain in the Stores Warehouse.

Definition: Expendable materials are charged to an annual expendables work order that is billed to the Operations index.

Expendable items are NOT inventoried or charged out on Stores Purchase Forms. Expendables are NOT sold.

FASS Agent Step-by-step guide

Expendable materials include:

  • Screws; deck, sheet metal, wood, machine, set, & lag
  • Nails
  • Washers; stainless, flat, & split
  • Nuts; stainless, steel, brass , wing, & furniture
  • Bolts; stainless, steel, brass, & nylock
  • Brushes; chip, nylon, & acid
  • Rubber O Rings
  • Cottor Pins
  • Rags; boxes of rags will be charged to the annual expendables work order and placed in the RAG BINS. Not all boxes of rags will be charges to the expendables work order, only the bin rags.

Property Specialist(s) will maintain sufficient quantities of expendable materials in the Stores Warehouse.
